Himalayan Badri cow A2 cultured ghee / A2 ghee

It is prepared using the traditional bilona method from the milk of Himalayan Badri cows which graze in the mountains of Himalayas of Uttarakhand. These cows which reared in highland around 1600 m and fed mostly in natural forests of Uttarakhand. The milk so reared is also rich in medicinal properties acquired from the grasses, plants and herbs that the cows fed on. Rich in fat soluble vitamins and Omega 3, it is useful for weight loss and keeps body warm in winters and cool in summers. It is collected from villages located in the kumaon region of Uttarakhand at an altitude of 1600 m. The ghee is prepared in the most higenic condition. It is packed and marketed by Gavayaamritam.

Badri cow (hill cow) has the most beneficial and healthy milk in the world. This fact came to light from the research done on the milk of Badri cow by the scientists of UCOST (Uttarakhand State Council of Science and Technology) and IIT (Indian Institute of Technology) Roorkee.
In this research conducted under the Value Addition to the Hill-kettle of Uttarakhand Using Biotechnological Investigation Project, it was found that 90 percent A-2 genotype beta casein is found in the milk of hill cows.
